The MV Agusta Dragster will be taking to the silver screen in 2024, as it is set to take up a starring role in the latest Matthew Vaughn blockbuster, Argylle. The Apple Original film is the work of Vaughn’s MARV Studios and is arriving in cinemas on February 2nd 2024. Vaughn’s previous films include The King’s Man series, Rocketman, Kick-Ass, Mean Machine, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Argylle movie official trailer
The story revolves around Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard) who is an introverted and withdrawn novelist, who gets dragged into a world of espionage and danger. Accompanied by Aidan (Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Elly (carrying her cat Alfie in her backpack) races across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the line between her fictional world and her real one begins to blur.
The bike features courtesy of pop starlet Dua Lipa, who can be seen astride the bike while firing a semi-automatic machine pistol (because Hollywood), and then again after being unceremoniously scooped from the machine by wrestling superstar John Cena.
While MV would love us to now say that the big-name cast is topped by its pint-sized roadster, it’s actually the legendary Samuel L. Jackson who is topping the billing.
Speaking about the news, Timur Sardarov, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. CEO, said:
“We can’t wait to see the movie! The fact that our stunning Dragster was chosen by the creators of Argylle to represent brutal elegance, unwavering style and raw, ruthless power fills us with pride. No doubt that MV Agusta fans around the world will enjoy the movie just as much as we do.”
