Kawasaki certainly kept everyone busy during the 2019 EICMA show with myriad reveals, headlined by the brand-new supercharged Kawasaki Z H2 and Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX sports tourer, together with the updated Z650 and Z900.
We took the opportunity to find out more about both models with an exclusive walkaround of the new models...

2020 Kawasaki Z H2 Walkaround
The 2020 Z H2 is probably one of the most bonkers hypernakeds to hit the streets. Trust me, if you’ve not ridden a supercharged inline-four then you need to!
Z H2 Engine is a 998cc, liquid-cooled inline-four DOHC 16V with supercharger. It’s pushing 200PS @ 11,000rpm (197bhp) and 137Nm @ 8,500rpm (101ft-lb).
If you want to feel what it’s like to teleport then this is probably the best machine for the job, well, this and the H2.
As you would expect the Z H2 is fitted with a sh*t ton of electronics too, such as:
Riding modes – Sport, Road, Rain, Rider
Power modes – Full 197bhp – Middle 147bhp – Low 98bhp
IMU - Bosch
KIBS (ABS)
KLCM – Kawasaki Launch Control
KTRC – Kawasaki traction Control
KQS – Kawasaki Quick Shifter
Cruise control
LED lighting
TFT dash
Smartphone connectivity
So, the Z H2 is ticking a lot of boxes. Perhaps the looks don’t float everyone’s boat, but we’ve heard that it will be under £16,000… that’s a great price, especially when compared to its direct Italian competition.
