INDIAN MOTORCYCLE has revealed that its first edition FTR 1200 S Race Replica will feature a tasty Akrapovič exhaust as standard.
The 2019 model, which was revealed at Intermot last year, features a striking Race Replica paintjob, which is enhanced by the titanium and stainless low-mount exhaust and its black matte carbon fibre heat shield.
The slip-on unit only adds to the model’s flat track-inspired image, while promising a soundtrack to match.
Limited to the first year’s production of the Race Replica model, the exhaust, which is one of more than 40 optional accessories on the range, would cost significantly more if buying it as an aftermarket part.
Grant Bester, Vice President and General Manager for Indian Motorcycle EMEA, commented: “The overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received for the FTR 1200 S with the Akrapovič exhaust has shown what a dynamic combination they are.
“It’s this great feedback which inspired us to give more value to the first owners of the FTR 1200 S Race Replica by including the exhaust at a very special price.”
